If this war is about democracy then why did the CIA oust the elected President of Iran back in 1958? Think maybe our country wanted cheap oil back then from Iran? No wonder they do not trust us.
As Kipling wrote years ago, you cannot force democracy on any country. Hell democracy in this country is who buys the most power. We come secondary and are used by corporate interests. We hate to leave now since Saudi Arabia may back the Sunnis and Iran the Shities. Imagine if that happened and they eached bombed each others oil fields. Not that would be a weird scenario but possible to oil politics.
We put ourselves into a mess due to years ago not getting into alternative energies. Now we have technology to do it. Stop listening to the lies people, it has always been about oil. If we do not get off of oil, the next wars could be China in the Balkans since they need energy big time and are working backroom deals for oil and natural gas.

Brilliant comment. If this war (the one in 2006) is about democracy then why did xyz happen 48yrs ago (black out mention of cold war and how it impacted history here).
