New Season of Sleeper Cell

The second season of Sleeper Cell is currently being released on Showtime.

I don't get Showtime, and was hoping to watch it via iTunes. Haven't found it there yet, but the first episode of the new season is available free via the official website.

Spoiler alert! Don't watch it if you have a desire to watch the first season, which I thought was excellent.

Watched last night. I've been looking around this morning for an appropriate place to ask my question, but a quick search on Dogpile didn't result in any reasonable alternatives, I'll ask my question here. You are, after all, the first place I look every morning. He he.

What's with the CIA kinda guy doing the wierd torture stuff on the jailed muj? I thought they had the muj's wife and kid in detention--at least under surveillance--and the torture stuff just doesn't make sense.

Once placed out there, it becomes a feature, an expectation that torture will continue. Wanna do waterboarding? Okay. Let's have a conversation on that. But a hot wire and a muj urethra? Man. Get a grip.

Anybody else have a disconnect here?

A good question. It will be interesting to see where they take the torture issue. So far, I think it is a little played up. The CIA certainly has more subtle ways of getting what it wants than just punching a guy in the face.

torture is really an interesting subject for this show to cover right now. i mean this whole show is a lil too real, but that is one of those hot button topics...on the lighter side of sleeper cell..anyone heard about this sleeper cell contest: can you keep your cover contest?
